1. All of the cards are first organized by their copyright year on the back. picture example: 1996 |
2. They are then labeled using the company printed next to the copyright year.

3. Next, I flip the card over and take note of what is printed on the front. picture example: 1996 Pinnacle Score Dream Team |

4. When there is a special attribute for the card, I put it in parenthesis.

5. Lastly, I include the number of the card. picture example: 1996 Pinnacle Score Dream Team (Promo) # 5 of 10 |
Using this formula makes it very easy to label a card. It also makes it easier to distinguish all of the different variations and parallels that are available.
